Particle Systems Screen Saver can be
selected as screensaver in the Control
Panel tab Display. Click on the button
Settings to open the screensavers
settings dialog.

If the animation is too slow then you
can choose the resolution 640x480 with
millions of colors (or at least 16-bit
color depth). Go in the settings dialog
of the screen saver and choose the
"General" tab to change the screen mode.

What is Particle Systems Screen Saver?
--------------------------------------

Particle Systems Screen Saver creates
animations of it's own kind. 3d particles
and display filters are creating a world
of pure energy and electric beauty.

It has dozens of configuration options to
allow a very individual configuration -
you can "play" with the settings for hours.

You will find over 170 predefined particle
systems. You will not believe that all
shapes and colors are coming from the
same screen saver.

What's new in Version 1.3?
-------------------------------

- Restricted frame rate to a maximum of
nearly 50 frames per second. There are
machines today that have plenty of CPU power
and animate many particle systems way too
fast.

- Added multi monitor support. You can find
the new options in the general tab of the
configuration dialog. 'Animate primary' means
that the animation will be shown on the
primary monitor and all others are black.
'Animate each' will show the same animation
on each monitor. 'Stretch over all' causes
that the animation will be stretched over
all monitors.


What's new in Version 1.2?
-------------------------------

- I could speed up the hole thing by using
  MMX and 3dNow. You can check in the general
  tab if your system supports this kind of
  hardware acceleration.

- you can set a overall drawing area in the
  general tab. This will override all area
  sizes of the presets.

- the 'Stretch to fullscreen'-option of the
  general tab causes the saver to use the
  whole screen all the time. But the effective
  resolution is reduced corresponding to the
  factor defined in the drawing size (you see
  'boxes' under certain circumstances).

- a new effect in the transformation tab of
  the wave system. In fact it is a combination
  of the two old effects.
  IMPORTANT! The 'Matrix 2'-tab has only a
  meaning if the new effect is selected.
  It plays the role of the 'Zoom'-Matrix.

- you can select if the wave animation should
  always start from beginning or from the last
  saved position. Do this in the general tab.

- you can now configure the hotkey of the
  popup menu which is available while screen-
  saving. Do this with 'Saver features hotkey'
  on the general tab.

- last but not least! There are a few new wave
  presets. Now there are over 170 presets in
  the wave gallery
