Faked EMails from mephzara.com / mephzara.ch

I observe that spam mails are sent with faked adresses pointing to my domains. It is an annoying but known problem.

Until now I never tried to do something against that (what?) or to publish a statement on my site. Since worms spread waves of nazi propaganda emails on the internet, the whole thing was lifted to a (very questionable) political layer and I do not want to be quiet.

I never send mass mails nor viruses nor trojan horses.

If you get such email with mephzara.com / mephzara.ch in the sender addresses, you can assume with a probability near to certainty that these sender addresses are fake.

However presently there is no known virus or trojan infection in my small network. Since I had to reconstruct a floppy disc manually because of a virus in the 80ies, I'm very careful and hold my computers infection free.

Unfortunately it is very easy to fake email sender addresses with the right programs. Spammer collect email addresses on the internet (forums, guestbooks, homepages, newsgroups etc.) and send advertising mails or mails with fraudulent content. Theses addresses are also used to create fake sender addresses.

However it is possible to take conclusions about the true sender of an email. For this reason spammers, bamboozlers and other dubious persons have a vital interest in taking over other peoples computer systems, to use them for spreading their junk emails - cowardly hidden behind the identity of an other.

They use trojan horses to take over other computers. These programs install themselves unnoticed on computer systems and try to infect other systems. They use various security holes of browsers, email clients or simply of operating systems themselves. Additionaly they try to get into contact with their commanders or to download further instructions from the internet.

The wave of nazi propaganda was spread by such a trojan on different computers with faked sender addresses. Regretfully my domains are also found under the faked addresses.

I hate radical rigth wing and asocial thoughts and ideas.

In my eyes all humans are coequal - regardless of nationality, skin color, sex, profession, religion, sexual orientation or social position.

The freedom of one reaches as far as it is limited by the freedom of an other or of the society.

I try to realize and to live this ideal and to meet other people free of prejudices.

These emails are not sent by me and I disaffirm the content deeply. I regret that you have been annoyed with that. It is a mean act of one or more than one confused minds.

Currently I see no way to prevent the faking of email addresses - unfortunately.

I try to do my part for a safe internet by handling technics very carefully and by securing my computer systems in several ways. Maybe you want to inform yourself about this topic and secure your system too? Read one of the articles in different computer magazines or daily newspapers or use a search engine - there are countless web sites about this topic on the internet.

You'll find a few tips to secure your system in the Link... wiki.

I thank you for you comprehension and wish you safe surfing and safe emails.
