Italy

These are the pictures of our holiday in Italy in august 2004. We made a tour through the entire country from north to south. We stopped at Cinque Terre in Liguria, Pisa, Monte Sant Angelo (Foresta Umbra) in Gargano (Apulia), Castell del Monte, the Trullis in Alezio and finally in Gallipoli.

This was my first holiday with a brand new Nikon D70. I took two lenses with me, the kit lens Nikkor 18-70 and the Nikkor 70-300 (the no ED version). I'm still learning how to handle the D70. It is a great but also complex camera. A totally different feeling compared to the Canon S40.

The most shots with the Canon Powershot S40 are taken by my wife Ilaria.
