If you want to visit Newgrange you sould not miss Knowth. In fact Knowth is much more worth a visit. Newgrange is organized too strictly because they have too many tourists there. You have no time to get into the atmosphere of the place, you cannot feel the time, feel the grandeur of the place.

Knowth is the contrary. The guide has more time to give deeper explanations. You will find much more neolithic art. There are less people and you can walk around on your own and get really in touch with the place, with the history and the mystic knowledge of these genius neolithic architects who where capable to design and create buildings which last for more than 5000 years, keep their interior dry and clean and are perfectly aligned with the motions of earth, sun and moon.
